Maryam Naiby is an Afghan journalist, media executive and women’s rights advocate. She serves as Managing Director of Zan TV and leads the organisation’s editorial and digital operations.

She joined Zan TV as a presenter and reporter, covering women’s rights, human rights, social issues and political developments.

In 2022, she became Managing Director of Zan TV and continues to lead the organisation.

In 2026, Maryam Naiby was named to the shortlist of the Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Press Freedom Awards in the Independence Prize category.
