Mortar Shell Explosion in Logar Kills Four Children

Local sources report that this incident occurred on Friday afternoon (July 5) in the city of Pul-e Alam, the capital of Logar province.

According to sources, the shell exploded while the children were playing with it.

These children were between the ages of 7 and 13.

The Taliban police command in Logar has also confirmed the explosion.

Weapons remnants from the prolonged wars in Afghanistan occasionally claim the lives of citizens, especially children.
