Traffic Incident in Faryab Claims 9 Lives Including Three Women

The Faryab Traffic Management announced in a statement that this traffic incident occurred on Saturday (August 3) in the Khan Charbagh district of Faryab province.

According to the statement, a Corolla vehicle collided with a other Corolla vehicle, resulting in the deaths of six men and three women, while three others were severely injured.

The injured were taken to the clinic in the Andkhoy district of Faryab for treatment.

Driver negligence has been cited as the cause of the accident.

It is worth noting that fatal traffic accidents have increased in various parts of the country in recent days. Last Friday, in a traffic accident in Bamiyan province, three men and two women lost their lives, and two others were injured. A day earlier, a traffic accident in Kapisa claimed the lives of three women and two men, and three others were injured.

Poor road conditions, driver negligence, and lack of traffic signs are among the main causes of traffic accidents in the country.
