Three Family Members, Including a Woman, Killed in an Armed Attack in Nuristan

According to sources, the incident occurred yesterday morning, Sunday (February 9), in the village of "Miri" in Nurgaram district.

Sources cited personal enmity between the two families as the reason behind the incident.

Reports indicate that the perpetrators fled the area after the attack.

The Taliban have confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation has been launched.

Obaidullah Tufan, the Taliban district governor of Nurgaram, said that efforts are underway to arrest those responsible for the incident.

This incident comes as similar cases of family violence and personal enmities have been reported in Afghanistan in the past. Recently, 13 members of a family in Khost Province were shot dead due to personal enmities.
