WHO: In Afghanistan, a Woman Dies Every Two Minutes During Pregnancy or Childbirth

On Monday (April 7), the organization published a message on its X page, calling on its international partners to help ensure equal access to healthcare in Afghanistan.

The WHO representative in Afghanistan emphasized the importance of a “healthy start and a hopeful future,” as well as universal health coverage.
