The United Nations said in a new report that the Taliban’s continued restrictions on women and girls have further weakened Afghanistan’s economy and labour force.

Local sources have reported the discovery of the bodies of three women in Kabul and Kandahar.

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, UNAMA, has expressed concern over the arrest of at least three journalists by the Taliban.

The deprivation of girls from education has entered its fifth year, years that for many schoolgirls have been marked by forced marriage, worsening mental health problems, hard labour, isolation, confusion and being kept away from the path of education and their dreams.
