The human rights organization Hengaw has reported that the intelligence forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran arrested Sara Gohari, an Afghan student at the University of Tehran, more than ten days ago and transferred her to an unknown location.

Coinciding with July 15, World Youth Skills Day, the European Union delegation in Kabul has emphasized its support for Afghan youth, especially girls, by issuing a statement. In a message on the social network X, the delegation wrote: “Afghan girls deserve more opportunities, not restrictions, to learn, work, and progress.”

Princeton University in the United States has announced that it will host a panel focused on the situation in Afghanistan, particularly the status of women after the Taliban’s return to power.

Following the mass deportation of Afghan migrants from Iran, Roza Otunbayeva, the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Head of the UNAMA office, has raised alarm over the situation of returnees and called for immediate action.
