20 People, Including Women and Children, Killed in Boat Capsizing in Nangarhar

Qureshi Badloon, the Taliban's Director of Information and Culture in Nangarhar, confirmed that the incident occurred around 7:30 AM on Saturday, June 1st in the Bili area of Muhmand Dara district.

According to Badloon, at least 20 people, including women and children, were killed in the incident and five others were rescued.

The Taliban's Director of Information and Culture in Nangarhar said that the bodies of five of the dead have been recovered from the water so far, but efforts are continuing to find the other victims, who are unlikely to have survived.

This is the second time in two years that such an incident has occurred in Muhmand Dara district. About two years ago, a similar incident in the same district resulted in several drownings.
