A Six-Year-Old Child Shot Dead by a Taliban Fighter in Paktika

According to the sources, the incident occurred on Friday (November 29) in Sarwaza district of Paktika.

Based on the information provided, the child, named Ibrahim, was shot dead after "took and removing a decorative plastic flower from a wedding vehicle," as stated by eyewitnesses.

One eyewitness reported that a Taliban fighter named Arif, upon observing this act, got out of the vehicle, placed his pistol in the child’s mouth, and fired multiple shots.

According to the sources, the gunfire was so intense that the child’s body was barely recognizable.

The Taliban in Paktika have yet to comment on the incident.

This comes as, in a similar incident not long ago, a Taliban fighter in Khost province shot and killed a child during a wedding ceremony.

It is worth noting that since regaining control of Afghanistan, the Taliban have killed citizens in various provinces through different methods.
