A Young Woman Commits Suicide in Badghis

According to the sources, the woman, a resident of "Haji Qurbanha" village in Qadis district, threw herself into a well on Monday (September 2) in an attempt to end her life and died.

Sources have cited family problems as the cause of her suicide.

Meanwhile, Taliban security officials in Badghis confirmed the incident and said that the woman's husband and father-in-law have been arrested in connection with the case.

It is worth noting that domestic violence, forced marriages, and psychological issues are among the main factors leading to the suicides of women and girls in Afghanistan.
