Elon Musk Calls for Shutdown of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and Voice of America

In the post, published on Sunday night (February 9), Musk referred to the officials of these media outlets as "crazy far-left extremists" and stated that they only talk to themselves.

He further added that these media outlets consume one billion dollars annually from U.S. taxpayers' money and, referencing Europe, said, "Europe is now free, and no one listens to these media outlets."

The Afghan branches of these two media outlets broadcast their programs in Pashto and Dari under the names Radio Azadi and Voice of America.

So far, no response has been issued by these media outlets regarding Elon Musk's demand. This comes as Musk had previously called for the cessation of activities of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
