Zan News: Local Taliban officials in Ghazni province report that the explosion of a gas balloon in a residential home has resulted in the death of one man and the injury of two women and two children.

According to a statement from the press office of the Taliban’s security command in Ghazni, the incident occurred on Saturday (November 9) in the "Ghaib Qalander" area of the fifth security district in Ghazni city.

The statement mentions that as a result of the explosion, one man was killed, and four others, including two women and two children, were severely injured. All the victims were members of the same family.

The Taliban press office emphasized that the primary cause of the explosion was the overheating of the gas balloon.

It is noteworthy that with the arrival of the cold season, incidents related to gas poisoning and gas explosions have increasing in many provinces of the country, with numerous citizens losing their lives.

Reports suggest that the non-standard use of gas is one of the main causes of these incidents, as many citizens, due to economic hardships, use liquid gas to heat their homes instead of purchasing firewood or charcoal.
