Zan News: A number of Hazara refugee women in Pakistan, on the second anniversary of the attack on the "Kaj" educational center in Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul, have called on the United Nations to recognize the genocide of Hazaras in Afghanistan.
These refugees lit candles on Monday (September 30) in a ceremony commemorating the victims of the attack on the Kaj educational center.
In a resolution, they called for an end to the targeted killing of Hazaras in Afghanistan and emphasized, "The genocide of Hazaras, which has recently been carried out under various names, especially under the name of ISIS, while the Taliban and ISIS share a common ideological basis, must be recognized."
These refugees called on the UN and human rights organizations to seriously investigate the genocide of Hazaras and stated that the Hazara people are currently under various pressures from the Taliban, including extortion and forced displacement in various parts of Afghanistan.
They also referred to the recent attack on a vehicle carrying residents of Daikundi in the Kotal Pahlo-Sang pass of Ghor province, calling it a crime against humanity.
It is worth mentioning that two years ago, in an attack by the ISIS group on the Kaj educational center, more than 100 students, most of whom were girls, were killed and wounded.
