Zan News: On the third anniversary of the Taliban's return to power, the "Powerful Women's of Afghanistan Movement" has issued a statement expressing deep sorrow over the country's dire situation and the profound political and social challenges facing the people of Afghanistan, especially women.

In the statement released today, Thursday (August 25), the Powerful Women's of Afghanistan Movement reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of justice and equality and called on the international community to pay closer attention to the current situation in Afghanistan, particularly the rights and freedoms of women.

The Powerful Women's Movement of Afghanistan has also criticized the Taliban regime, stating that the Taliban have not adhered to any international commitments or human dignity and have disregarded human rights values.

The movement stated: "Afghan women have been deprived of all their human rights, including their basic individual rights, for three years. Women have also been condemned to house arrest by the Taliban for three years, and this situation has had a negative impact on the mental health of women, with many experiencing psychological distress. They have no access to any health services."

The statement also referred to the situation of children under Taliban rule, stating that "nothing is in its place in Afghanistan under Taliban rule, and even the situation of children in this country is sadly worrisome. In addition to hard labor, children are being raped by the Taliban, children in other provinces and even in Kabul are being Talibanized and receiving military training."

The Powerful Women's Movement of Afghanistan has called on organizations protecting the status of children to pay serious attention to this situation.

In conclusion, the movement emphasized its continued efforts to realize the human and social rights of Afghan women and achieve peace, stability, and progress in the country, stressing solidarity and unity in this endeavor.
