Zan News: Local sources in Herat have reported that the Taliban has closed all women's-only cafes in the province.
According to reports, sources confirmed on Tuesday (November 26) that this action was carried out by the Taliban's Department for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Herat.
According to these sources, after the ban on girls' education and schooling, some women and girls in Herat had established women-only cafes.
Sources say that at least five such cafes were operating in Herat, but recently, Taliban agents have closed them, citing reasons such as the playing of music and the movement of women.
The owners of these cafes have denied the accusations made by the Taliban, calling them baseless.
The Taliban has not made any official statement on this matter.
It should be noted that women in Afghanistan have been facing systematic repression under the Taliban's rule for over three years.
