UN: The Deprivation of Girls' Education in Afghanistan is a Great Injustice

Zan News: The UN Women has stated that the deprivation of girls from schooling in Afghanistan has now entered its fourth year, and emphasized that they must be returned to classrooms as soon as possible.
The agency has released a message describing this situation as a "great injustice" and warned that this deprivation will affect generations.
The message stressed: "Their basic rights must be restored immediately."
It is noteworthy that, according to statistics from the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), so far 2.2 million girls have been deprived of their right to education, with 400,000 of them deprived of schooling just this year. Forecasts indicate that if this ban continues until 2030, the number of girls deprived of education will exceed four million.
This comes as the Taliban, after coming to power in 2021, banned the education of girls above the sixth grade. While international organizations have repeatedly called for the return of girls to schools, the Taliban have yet to take any concrete action in this regard.
