Local sources in Badakhshan province say that a 15-year-old boy in the Kishm district of this province has committed suicide due to domestic violence.

Sources told the media on Monday, August 18, that the boy ended his life by hanging himself.

According to the sources, the boy was constantly beaten by his father because of harassment from others.

It is worth noting that cases of suicide among teenagers and children have previously been reported, and since the Taliban’s return to power, this trend has been increasing.
