Three People, Including a Woman, Killed in Traffic Accident on Kabul–Jalalabad Highway

As a result of a traffic accident on the Kabul–Jalalabad highway, three people, including a woman, have lost their lives and four others have been injured.

According to local sources, the incident occurred around 7 a.m. on Thursday (10 July) in Kabul’s Surobi district, near the Mahipar area, when a Mercedes vehicle collided with a Corolla.

The cause of the accident has been attributed to the drivers’ negligence.

So far, local Taliban officials have not commented on the incident.

It is worth noting that traffic accidents in Afghanistan claim hundreds of lives and injure hundreds more each year. Driver negligence, poor road conditions, and a lack of traffic signs are among the main causes of such incidents.
