The statement from the Taliban's Supreme Court further noted that the woman was flogged 39 times and, in addition, sentenced to five months of imprisonment. The flogging sentence was carried out in the presence of local Taliban officials, employees, and a number of local residents. This comes two days ago, another woman was publicly flogged by the Taliban in the center of Baghlan province.

The AFJC emphasized that this order not only affects political programs but also restricts discussions on economic issues. According to the statement, television networks in Afghanistan are now only permitted to host Taliban spokespersons for discussions. The organization also reported that the Taliban's Ministry of Information and Culture has stated that further decisions on this matter will be made by next Monday. The AFJC expressed deep concern over these restrictions, describing them as part of a broader policy to suppress free media and silence critical voices. It is worth noting that since their return to power, the Taliban have repeatedly imposed restrictive measures, putting pressure on media freedom and attempting to suppress dissenting voices.

It is worth noting that despite global criticism, the Taliban continue to carry out desert trials of citizens. These actions have been met with widespread condemnation from international organizations and human rights activists.

It should be noted that Afghanistan remains one of the countries with the highest maternal and infant mortality rates. According to the World Health Organization, every day in Afghanistan, 24 mothers and 167 newborns die from preventable causes. The WHO also recently reported that women and children bear the brunt of the severe consequences of the country's health crisis.

He emphasized that the children were 10, 11, and 13 years old. It is worth noting that during the 20 years of the Republic era, the Taliban planted landmines across vast areas, and the explosion of these mines continues to claim the lives of a significant number of Afghan citizens each year.

The statement was issued on Friday (September 6) by representatives of 12 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Japan, and others. In the statement, Security Council members emphasized that this law imposes further unacceptable restrictions on the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Afghan people. They have called on the Taliban to immediately revoke policies and practices that hinder women and girls from enjoying their human rights and fundamental freedoms. Security Council members stated that respect for the rights of women and girls is essential for achieving a peaceful and stable Afghanistan. They also referred to the ban on the entry of Richard Bennett, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan, and described this decision as disturbing. Security Council members said the Special Rapporteur must be able to fully carry out his mandate. It is worth noting that the Taliban, while intensifying restrictions on the freedom and rights of Afghan citizens, have also banned the visit of Richard Bennett, the UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in Afghanistan. The group has accused Richard Bennett of "propaganda" against them and said that he is exaggerating small issues.
